Shirodhara & Abhyanga

Royal Ayurvedic Shirodhara Therapy is renowned as one of the most deeply relaxing Ayurvedic treatments. This comprehensive therapy includes a full-body oil massage (Abhyanga), which prepares both body and mind for the following deep relaxation.

The treatment continues with Shirodhara itself – warm herbal oil gently poured onto the forehead, in the area of the so-called “third eye”, from where it softly flows towards the crown of the head. This rhythmic and continuous stream of oil has a profound calming effect on the nervous system. The therapy also includes a head and neck massage, further enhancing the feeling of relaxation.

Shirodhara is used not only as a deeply relaxing therapy to calm the mind, but also to support a wide range of conditions related to the head, eyes, and ears – such as insomnia, excessive stress, exhaustion, headaches, or visual disturbances.

The warm oil used in the treatment also has a beneficial effect on the hair and scalp. The herbal extracts nourish the hair with essential vitamins, improving its shine and strength. We recommend leaving the oil in the hair for as long as possible to maximize its effects.

After the Shirodhara therapy, guests have access to a private shower, where they can comfortably cleanse themselves. A bathrobe is also provided to ensure maximum comfort. This allows you to leave the treatment feeling relaxed, refreshed, and ready to continue your day.
